Palanga Central Beach is the most visited coastal destination in Lithuania, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors annually. The beach stretches on both sides of the legendary Palanga Pier, which is the longest sea pier in Lithuania (470 m). The sandy shore is wide and clean, awarded the international Blue Flag quality mark. Lifeguard posts, changing cabins, showers, restrooms, and accessibility features for disabled visitors are available. Various events and beach sports competitions are organized during the summer season. Nearby is Basanavičiaus Street with cafes, restaurants, and entertainment.
