Sartai Lake Beach is located on the largest lake in Aukštaitija (1,347 ha). Sartai is shallow but very wide, so the water warms up quickly in summer. The beach is sandy with good infrastructure and is suitable for families. Lake Sartai is especially famous for its traditional winter horse racing on ice, held since the 19th century. In summer, visitors can kayak, sail yachts, and fish. Nearby is the Rokiškis Manor with a museum and cheese factory. The Sartai area is rich in natural and cultural heritage.
