Raudondvaris Manor
A Renaissance castle-manor on the Nevėžis River, now an active cultural center. Built in the 16th century, the residence stands out with its red brick architecture and romantic park.
Raudondvaris Manor is one of the oldest manors in Lithuania, established in the 16th century on the banks of the Nevėžis River. The manor's name derives from the red bricks used to build the main residence. Over the centuries, the manor was owned by several influential families, including the Zabielavičiai, Tiškevičiai, and Oginskiai. In the 19th century, one of Lithuania's first agricultural museums was established here. Today, the restored manor houses a cultural center hosting concerts, exhibitions, and educational events. The manor park offers walks among ancient trees and panoramic views of the Nevėžis valley.
