MO Museum (Modern Art)

A modern private museum presenting Lithuanian contemporary and modern art from the mid-20th century to the present day. The building was designed by architect Daniel Libeskind.

MO Museum is a private contemporary art museum in Vilnius, founded on the initiative of patrons Viktorija and Darius Mockus. The museum has been operating since 2018 in a building designed by world-renowned architect Daniel Libeskind. The MO collection contains more than 5,000 Lithuanian modern and contemporary artworks from the 1960s to the present day. The museum organises thematic exhibitions, educational programmes, film screenings, and discussions. The building's architecture – a white, dynamic form – has become a new architectural symbol of Vilnius. MO is one of the most popular cultural spaces in Lithuania.
