Vilnius Picture Gallery
The oldest art gallery in Vilnius, housed in the Chodkevičius Palace. It exhibits 16th–19th century European and Lithuanian painting collections as well as applied art works.
Vilnius Picture Gallery operates in the historic Chodkevičius Palace in Vilnius Old Town – one of the most beautiful residences on Vilnius's Didžioji Street. The gallery belongs to the Lithuanian Art Museum and exhibits rich 16th–19th century painting collections. Visitors can see works by European masters, portraits from the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, and unique applied art exhibits. The palace also hosts temporary exhibitions and educational events. The building itself is an architectural monument – a late classicist palace with ornate interiors. The gallery is one of the most popular cultural venues in Vilnius Old Town.
