MO Museum is a contemporary art museum in Vilnius, opened in 2018. The building was designed by world-renowned architect Daniel Libeskind and is one of the most striking examples of contemporary architecture in Lithuania. The museum collection is based on the private collection of Viktoras and Danguole Butkus, comprising over 5,000 works – Lithuanian art from the 1960s to the present day. MO regularly organizes interdisciplinary exhibitions exploring current social, political, and cultural themes. The museum also offers educational programs, film screenings, and discussions. It is one of the most popular cultural spaces in Vilnius.
