Devils Museum

The only museum of its kind in the world, housing over 3,000 devil figurines from various countries. The collection was started by artist Antanas Zmuidzinavicius.

The Devils Museum is a unique museum in the world, operating in the house of artist Antanas Zmuidzinavicius in Kaunas. Throughout his lifetime, the artist collected an enormous collection of devils, imps, and demons from around the world, which became a museum after his death. Today the collection comprises over 3,000 exhibits – figurines, masks, paintings, and other works depicting the devil in Lithuanian and other nations' folklore traditions. Among the exhibits is a satirical sculpture depicting Hitler and Stalin dancing over Lithuania. The museum is one of the most popular attractions in Kaunas and draws tourists from around the world with its unusual thematic content.
