Rubikiai Lake Beach is one of the most popular recreation spots in the Aukštaitija region. Lake Rubikiai is a large (995 ha) and clean lake with a sandy shore, suitable for swimming and water sports. The beach is well-maintained with changing cabins, a children's playground, and a campfire area. Nearby is the Anykščiai Regional Park with the famous Treetop Walking Path, the Puntukas boulder, and other natural and cultural landmarks. Rubikiai is an excellent base for exploring the Anykščiai region.
