The park encompasses the longest lake in Lithuania – Asveja (30 km long). The Dubingiai peninsula features a historic hillfort associated with the Radziwiłł family.
Asveja Regional Park, established in 1992, protects the surroundings of Lithuania's longest lake – Asveja (Dubingiai). The lake is 30 km long but only 0.5–1 km wide – the longest lake in the country. The Dubingiai peninsula features a historic hillfort where the Radziwiłł family had their estate center in the 16th century. In 2009, the oldest known seal of Vytautas the Great was found here. The park includes the towns of Bijutiškis and Giedraičiai with old churches. The lake offers fishing, boating, and nature recreation.
