A regional park with the restored Kurtuvėnai manor estate – a center for equestrian tourism. The Venta river winds through the hilly Samogitian landscape.
Kurtuvenai Regional Park, established in 1992, is one of the most popular regional parks in the Šiauliai county. The park centers around the Kurtuvėnai manor estate, which houses an equestrian tourism center – visitors can ride horses and take riding lessons. The Venta river flows through the park, beginning its journey from Samogitia to the Baltic Sea. The park features old forests, hills, and small lakes, home to moose, roe deer, and numerous birds. Several nature trails and cycling routes are available. It is an excellent destination for active family recreation.
